So I sat at my laptop and was working on a new spreadsheet for my Lifestyle change and vitals monitoring (BP and heart rate) I came up with a pretty decent spreadsheet I think. I have decided that I have many goals now which include the obvious weight loss, getting in shape, better diet, and healthier living. I want to track all the KPI's (key performance indicators) that affect my day, the work outs, the food, the sleep, the types of food and I want to benchmark each one of these to help me meet my goals in the end. I also included my Blood pressure and resting heart rate on the spreadsheet as I stated before these are KPI's (key performance indicators) as well that are helping to guide me. I color coded everything on it, red bad, green good , pink kind of bad, light green pretty good. The biggest change I see so far besides the 22 pounds dropped is my resting heart rate and Blood pressure. It amazes me how much of a difference all the lifestyle stuff affects them two items and how fast the change came! My resting heart rate has gone from poor to excellent in 5 weeks! My resting heart rate this morning was (I took it three times to confirm) 58-63-61.

| Top number (systolic) in mm Hg | Bottom number (diastolic) in mm Hg | Your category* | |
| Below 120 | and | Below 80 | Normal blood pressure |
| 120-139 | or | 80-89 | Prehypertension |
| 140-159 | or | 90-99 | Stage 1 hypertension |
| 160 or more | or | 100 or more | Stage 2 hypertension |
So I guess although I haven't lost any weight the last couple days I feel better knowing that I am improving in other areas so the overall assessment for this week for me has been good. i am still down .8 pounds and I am feeling pretty good about things. Tomorrow I will list my goals in the various areas and see what the weigh in brings!
